BRESOV meets Farmers
On 16th April 2019 BRESOV partner Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) met with 25 farmers from the Valencia region to discuss the growing of a local tomato variety (Valencian tomato). The aim was to see how the variety, which has a high demand in Valencia, can be enhanced and see if there is an interest in constituting an association of producers. The new proposed association of Valencian tomato landrace producers will contribute to the enhancement of this local variety, in particular when combined with sustainable and organic production
