"Pomopoulus" is an activity directed to children of Grade Four Elementary School (9-10 years old) attending the Summer School at BRESOV partner UNiversity of Valencia (Escola d'Estiu 2019) in which the diversity of tomato is explained and used as an example of how diversity is important in agriculture and human nutrition. The children see diversity of fruits, grade them, taste them, and transplant one seedling each which they bring home. They also visit the germplasm bank where seeds are stored.
